POSTER GUIDELINES

Size and Dimensions

  1. The dimensions of our poster boards are 4’ high by 8’ wide. These boards are double-sided. Each side will be used for two posters.
  2. You may use up to 4’ x 4’ of poster board space for your poster. We strongly recommend that your poster is no larger than 42” x 42” to leave room for poster numbers and push pin cups, which will be provided.
  3. Posters should be printed on paper or fabric. Please do not use foam core.
  4. Please keep in mind that your poster should be legible from at least 3 feet away.

Content and Messaging

We strongly suggest that your poster include the following information:

  1. Title (authors, affiliations, award number) and your contact information
  2. Project title
  3. Background and/or project description (eg. goals, research, methods)
  4. Results and/or successes
  5. Evaluation results, conclusion, or future plans

POSTER SESSION LOGISTICS

Before the Meeting

Posters will be presented in one session on Thursday, May 23, 2024. We will reach out to all poster presenters in early May to confirm poster details and assign poster numbers. Poster numbers will be displayed on the poster boards – you do not need to print this number on your poster.

At the Meeting

  1. Posters should be hung before the session begins. Onsite staff can help you find the poster session area and/or your poster number, if needed.
  2. Thumbtacks will be available onsite for mounting the displays.
  3. Please stand by your poster for the duration of the poster session.
  4. Consider providing a handout summarizing your research and include your contact information or be sure to have your business cards available for those who request your contact information. If you plan to provide a handout, please print these and bring them the conference. We cannot guarantee that handouts can be printed onsite.
  5. Please remove your poster from the board following the poster session.
