The American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) and the National Science Foundation (NSF) hosted a conference on Increasing Participation of Minority Serving Institutions in NSF’s Computer and Information Science and Engineering Programs (CISE).
The goals of this conference were (a) to increase awareness about CISE Core Programs among attendees; and (b) to determine a framework for more constructive engagement of Historically Black Colleges and Universities, Hispanic Serving Institutions and Tribal Colleges and Universities in NSF CISE Core programs. This conference ultimately aimed to foster collaborations among MSIs to increase the number and competitiveness of their NSF CISE proposals. The conference was held February 3-5, 2020 at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City in Arlington, VA.
